School Grants Available

2018 Hunger and Homelessness Week

The Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness (CCEH) is seeking passionate students and school organizations who want to have a role in ending hunger and homelessness in Connecticut. November 12th-18th is National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week and CCEH is offering small grants to high school students, clubs, and other members of school systems for projects designed to raise awareness about homelessness. Grants are flexible and can be used to hold a lock-in, host a sleep-out, create an awareness video, or otherwise support community discussions that address homelessness. The maximum grant award is $200. The only requirements for receiving a grant is a passion for addressing hunger and homelessness, a creative project or event idea, being part of a high school system and completing the application below.

Awardees will be announced by: November 05, 2018
