Components of an Effective Outreach System

| Outreach plays a vital role in ending homelessness because it helps to bring clients into the homeless system that may not normally enter the homeless system. With the pandemic that we are currently going through it is more important than ever to engage people experiencing homelessness who may be disconnected and alienated not only from mainstream services and supports, but from the services targeting homeless persons as well. This webinar is the first of a series that will focus on the different components that make up an effective outreach system. During this webinar we will cover the conceptual framework of outreach, record keeping and data, outreach during COVID-19, and how to have an assertive, trauma-informed, equitable approach to outreach. |
