Components of an Effective Outreach System (Session 2)

| Outreach plays a vital role in ending homelessness because it helps to bring clients into the homeless system that may not normally enter the homeless system. With the pandemic that we are currently going through it is more important than ever to engage people experiencing homelessness who may be disconnected and alienated not only from mainstream services and supports, but from the services targeting homeless persons as well. This webinar is the second of a series that will focus on the different components that make up an effective outreach system. Session 2 will discuss the process of outreach, tools that can be used to assist, and the importance of having a multidisciplinary team. This webinar will examine the different roles and functions of those involved in performing outreach as well as provide tips on how to build strong community and school partnerships. |
