November is National Homeless Youth Awareness Month.
And right here in Connecticut, the ACTION group Against Youth Homelessness and Hunger, has won a National Award from the National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth. The student-led group at Classical Magnet is dedicated to educating the public about the issues involving youth homelessness and to supporting students who are homeless or hungry.
