Next Step Initiative - Next Step Initiative

The Next Step Initiative is Governor Rell’s funding initiative, to help implement part of the recommendations in the State Interagency Council on Supportive Housing and Homelessness’ plan, designed to add 1000 units of supportive housing through out the State over the next three years.  Next Step will provide funding for supportive services, development and/or rental subsidies.  It is designed to leverage additional development grants as well as federal funds.
