LMHA - Local Mental Health Authority

The Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services operates and/or funds 14 Local Mental Health Authorities (LMHAs) throughout Connecticut.  They manage the mental health services for their geographic regions.  The LMHAs offer a wide range of therapeutic recovery-oriented programs, including employment and supportive housing programs, as well as crisis intervention services.
