HPRP - Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program

A short term program to assist those most affected by the current economic crisis, HPRP provides communities with new resources for homelessness prevention and re-housing through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (aka the "stimulus bill").  Of the $1.5 billion special allocation of funding for HPRP, close to $17 million will come, in total, to the State of Connecticut and five entitlement communities (Bridgeport, Hartford, New Britain, New Haven, and Waterbury).
