Sarah Day Chess
Training and Communications Coordinator
The Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness
Office: (860) 721-7876 116
Sarah Day Chess works in the CCEH Hartford Office as the Training & Communications Coordinator. Sarah graduated from New York University Gallatin in 2015 with a degree in Peacebuilding and Economic Development, but her real focus during her time in New York was working with the Catholic Worker Movement at the St. Joseph Hospitality House where she learned a lot about homelessness and community. She has worked on developing creative training materials with AristoCare and in research with the Central Louisiana Economic Development Alliance, Center for Family Representation and other nonprofits. Sarah currently lives in her hometown of Stratford, CT and enjoys being outdoors and playing music on the piano. By bringing together the advocacy, data, and other programmatic efforts of CCEH, Sarah hopes to build strong communication with the Connecticut community to end homelessness throughout the state.
